Each zodiac sign (rashi) is categorized into five Vashya types: Manav (human - Gemini, Virgo, Libra, first half of Sagittarius, Aquarius), Vanchar (wild/forest - Leo), Chatushpad (four-legged - Aries, Taurus, second half of Sagittarius, first half of Capricorn), Jalchar (water creature - Cancer, Pisces, second half of Capricorn), and Keeta (insect/reptile - Scorpio). The compatibility between these types determines how much natural attraction exists and whether one partner can positively influence the other. How It Works

The moon sign (rashi) of both the bride and groom determines their Vashya category. When both belong to the same Vashya type, full 2 points are awarded. When neither sign holds Vashya over the other, 0.5 points may be given for partial compatibility. Completely incompatible Vashya types (like enemies) score 0 points.
